A mid morning run stopped when my knee gave up ! with a 3K hobble home , I was able to have a quick look round the lake and also along the railway.
No new patch year ticks , but seconds in the form of KINGFISHER, GOLDCREST and BUZZARD , padders included Great Spotted Woodpecker , 4 Bullfinches (2 pairs) and a few roving Tit flocks that will merit closer scrutiny over next few days
The Male BLACKCAP was again feeding in the garden , along with 2 Song Thrushes , NLVP has a healthy population of ST
Target species for next week are Treecreeper, Grey Wag , Snipe and Woodcock !
