A bike ride with James from 13:20 til 17:00 through the Bancroft section of the park produced the following.
2 Great Spotted Woodpeckers , many Corvids to roost including over 100 Jackdaws , 2 Bullfinches , 1 Little Egret pre roost flock of 47 LINNET ( YT - 51) was an unexpected surprise. usual moorhens and Mallards in the stream , soped out a few new areas that i will concentrate on in the next few weeks , specifically for Snipe and Woodcock as well as a good area for Siskin and Redpoll , already worried that i might have missed out on the choice Duck movement !
a Mute Swan heading north over my house this morning was unexpected !

PS - i have revisited my year list and think that the pheasant and Lapwing were actually last year ( December) so have removed and updated the figure above to 51 !
