I thought I would kick start this blog with a January thru Mid February update from the North Loughton Valley Park Parish whatsit !
Currently the year list is on a respectable 53 , highlights have been the Male Blackcap that came to my birdtable in late January , 2 Pochard on Lodge Lake during the cold Weather , up to 5 Little Egrets that feed along the stream , Pair of Buzzards on 14th February displaying near Lodge Lake , Kingfisher seen on at least 2 occasions along the Bradwell Abbey Stream, Single Goldcrest calling and attempting a slight song in my garden last week during a brief spell of sun and the frequent sight of Bullfinches ( seen on pretty much every walk through the patch.)
Cant wait for the spring now !
