Spooner

Haven't updated this for ages, but to be fair, I haven't seen a great deal all summer!  That is until this lunchtime, when Richard Bashford, Darren Oakley-Martin and I bumbled along to look over Gypsy Lane East.  On the first scan this thing was looking straight back at me - Spoonbill!!

It lasted about ten seconds on the deck, just long enough for a couple of iphone shots to be secured, before it started circling.  It did a tour of the whole site before eventually heading off north.  Lovely.
