Lots of stuff now producing young around Broom. Pick of the bunch are the two broods of Shelducks on GLE. It's the first time multiple pairs have bred here and they are the first young for quite a few years too.
Also a couple of pairs of Redshanks appear to have young, and today I saw a pair of Shovelers which was a bit of a surprise. Also at least five Hobbies over Peacocks at lunchtime too.

Sanderling
Crap weather, but another Sanderling has turned up today on GLE. Also 150 House Martins, 300 Swifts, and 30 Common Terns around the site.

Pochard
A drake Pochard on GLE this morning is my first on site for a few weeks. The terns look like they might be doing something on Peacocks still.

Jubilee
Not a great deal happening at Broom recently. The Jubilee weekend was fairly quiet, apart from nine Tundra Ringed Plovers and a Dunlin on GLE on 3rd. Otherwise fairly standard stuff.
